Modular pontoon systems provide the most adaptable work platform systems for safe working on inland and coastal waterways. They are fully transportable, can be arranged in all configurations from simple moon-pools to complex configurationst robust enough to accommodate heavy duty machinery. They can be economically installed, dismantled and rapidly modified on-site to suit project needs. They are environmentally inert and can be used in environmentally sensitive sites and waterways.

The robustness, stability and capability of modular pontoon platforms can vary substantially. In setting up our pontoon hire company we researched all available modular pontoon systems on the market. After evaluation of all options we chose to use only MAGIC FLOAT modules because they had been scientifically evaluated as the most robust and highest load bearing system on the market. All comparable flat sided cube systems were shown by our scientific tests to achieve less than 50% of the load bearing of MAGIC FLOAT.
Strength and depth
When lifting pre-assembled platforms we do so by the connecting lugs at two points along each side of the platform, each lug has a work tested pull strength of 2800 Kg, this photo shows two platforms weighing approximately 1 ton being lifted together.
The high strength and greater stability of MAGIC FLOAT has been shown, via rigorous mechanical stress testing, to be achieved through its unique interlocking cube sides coupled with its stronger 20mm connecting lugs. The interlocking sides facilitate distribution of the lateral loads which when combined with the 2800kg tensile strength of the stronger lugs makes MAGIC-FLOAT the best on the market for the most challenging applications for pontoon and work platform hire.
