Health & Safety
All our staff are required to be fully trained in all areas of their skills including our own in-house training with our pontoon system. All our site staff have as standard CSCS site, Marina/dredging and IPAF certification.
It is the policy of Work On Water Ltd to ensure that, so far as is reasonably practicable, all staff, contractors and others who may be affected by the operations or undertakings of the Company are safeguarded in respect of their health, safety and welfare at work.
As an organisation operating in a potentially dangerous environment our primary focus is on SAFETY and through our policy we are committed to achieving a safe working environment by competence, control and communications.
Work On Water Ltd is committed to:
- The prevention of injury and impairment of health of all persons affected by the undertakings of the Company.
- The observance of the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and Guidance Documents applicable to the operations of the Company.
- The adoption of safe working practices and standards.
To safeguard all aspects of our clients Health & Safety we will carry out site visits prior to mobilisation, assembly and installation to ensure that:
- Method statements for all lifting, assembly and installation tasks relevant to each project location are completed
- Risk assessments relevant to each project location are conducted.
- A works task sheets portfolio is compiled so that each individual involved in the project is fully aware of their health, safety and environmental commitments to give our clients total confidence in our safe working systems.
